Abstract
This paper presents the study of agricultural soil of Mandvi tahsil of Kutch district located near coastal region. Total 2531 samples were collected from different eighteen sites. Under the soil health card programme of Government of Gujarat, all soil samples were collected by trained farmers and brought for analysis to Soil Test laboratory of Bhuj. All soil samples were analyzed for pH, Electrical conductivity, Phosphorus, Potassium, Organic Carbon, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Calcium, Magnesium and Sulfur. The aim of this paper is to study soil fertility status and correlation of basic soil properties with micronutrients. This study concludes that the ‘correlation analysis’ and discriminate analysis can provide scientific basis for monitoring and controlling the tillage management.
