Abstract
The article deals with morphological means of expression of the end of an action in Ukrainian and German languages. Research is carried out on the basis of empirical data received after analysis of works of literature and their translations. Received data shows that prefixes in German are being used to express the end of an action almost twice so often as in Ukrainian.
