Abstract

It has been shown that with constant insignificant hydrocarbon pollution (at the level of 80–87 mg/kg of petroleum products in the soil and exceeding the MPC from 2 to 10 times in water), the investigated basin ecosystem is capable of regeneration due to a combination of factors: the activity of self-purification processes, which is facilitated by natural conditions, the combined positive effect of the properties of the components of the landscape and the presence of petroleum products, light fractions of hydrocarbons, which decay in a short time.
