Abstract
The article considers noise pollution, the negative impact on the human body and the environment is investigated. The author gives a classification of noise depending on its effect. The norms for the permissible noise level, established in accordance with the standards approved by the World Health Organization, are also specified. Methods of solutions for reducing and possibly eliminating noise p ollution are proposed.
