Abstract

This research was performed in order to epidemiological survey psychopathy in opioid dependent individuals Kermanshah city in 1396. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study during which 325 (22 women and 303 men) dependent people to opiate material which were selected by systematic sampling, to detect drug dependence was used from the DSM-IV-C criteria and for evaluation the amount of symptoms related to mental disorders SCL-90-R test validated by Iran and demographic questionnaire. Data parsing and analyzed based on descriptive statistics and tests Z, X, T with use of SPSS software. Results showed the prevalence of aggression among patients is equal to 15/10 percent anxiety 23.9% obsession of 76/10 percent, interpersonal sensitivity was 69.7% physical complaints were 13.84% psychosis is 53.9% paranoid 10-15% depression is 07.15% and border fears of 53.13%, highest rate related to depression disorders and physical complaints and the least was related to interpersonal sensitivity disorder. Different epidemiological studies show prevalence of mental disorders in countries and different cultures is different and varied because of the difference sampling methods types of used tools and various interview techniques.
