Prospects of application of hybrid methodology of project management

Over the entire time of project management, a huge number of different methodologies and standards for project management have been developed. Two main areas are traditional waterfall models and flexible methodologies. The urgency of this work is the need to improve the methodology of project management, taking into account the requirements of the modern global economy, based on the knowledge and principles of sustainable development. In the article a comparative analysis of flexible methodologies and a classical waterfall model was conducted, the strengths and weaknesses of both models were studied, and the possibility of using the hybrid methodology of project management was considered.
