ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE-BASED ECONOMY IN FORMING OF INNOVATION MODEL OF DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE

The article deals with approaches to the interpretation of the knowledge economy. Also here is defined the definition of knowledge economy taking into account the features of modern world-economic processes. The analysis of the indicators characterizing the level of development of the knowledge economy in Ukraine was evaluated and the tendencies of the functioning of the domestic educational and scientific sphere were assessed. Also in the article there are formed suggestions on stimulating knowledge generation processes in the context of building an innovation model in Ukraine.
