Cognitive aspects of gender-marked vocabulary

This article is devoted to the theoretical research and critical evaluation of competence approach to teaching English as a foreign language. These strategies may be very helpful for teachers, as they develop not only language skills in a natural environment, but also critical thinking as well as motivate learners for further language studying.
