Abstract

The ever increasing volume of information exchange on public data exchange track on without image authentication. This is putting more and more complex challenge on image authentication. In recent days, image segmentations in watermarking have been found to increase the performance of image authentication. This work is targeted in the domain of image authentication. Based on superpixel segmentation methods, digital image watermarking scheme for color image has been developed for image authentication to protect digital assets from illegal manipulation. In this paper we proposed embedment and extraction of color watermark image into color cover image using superpixel –SVD based segments with segment level key encryption method. The superpixel based image segmentation has been applied to retain the quality of image of the embedment and extraction of digital watermark. The implemented work is expected to have its potential application in cyber forensic image investigation, copyright protection and medical imaging. To check effectiveness of both techniques we are using PSNR and NC parameters which have excellent performance on embedment and extraction of watermark image
