Abstract
Congestion control is an important aspect in wireless sensor networks (WSN) that arises in packet switched network. It is a situation in WSN where the network consists of too many packets which may lead to packet loss. It occurs only when the load on the network is greater than the capacity of network. There can be a packet loss due to heavy traffic flow as the sink gathers all the information from the intermediate nodes. Here we proposed a technique which improves the quality of the service in congestion control. Using the Ad-Hoc routing protocol we address some issues like decrease in packet waiting time, decrease in packet drop probability and increase the energy efficiency of the system.
