A PRIVATE CLOUD IMPLEMENTATION FOR JORDANIAN UNIVERSITIES CLOUD COMPUTING: E-LEARNING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE AS A SERVICE

There is a need to design a collaboration infrastructure for Jordanian Universities‟ to meet their technological needs, use benefit of sophisticated software to solve many complexes problems fast and at a lower cost. This paper introduces a suggested solution on based of cloud computing concepts and describes the architecture of suggested cloud computing platform for establishing an E-Learning center of excellence as service. The author has tried to introduce cloud computing to e-learning service, build an elearning center of excellence cloud, and prepare for an active research and exploration for it from the following aspects: architecture, construction method and external interface with the model, investigate the factors that influence universities‟ willingness to use cloud computing in many educational services by using a quantitative research approach as well empirical studies.
