Abstract
Gestational diabetes is a condition characterized by carbohydrate intolerance with varying degrees of severity that is recognized for the first time during pregnancy and may or may not resolve after pregnancy. In pregnant women with diabetes, there is a greater risk of maternal and fetal complications, for this reason we update the topic through management and consultation of information from national and foreign sources on this current issue.
