Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in men and the second in women; is the second leading cause of death related to the tumoral disease [1, 2]. Early detection of colorectal cancer may lead to a decrease of incidence and mortality, being especially important screening methods in this neoplasia, where symptoms are associated with advanced stages of the disease.
