Proposal of exercises of Chemistry for Residents of Biomedical Basic Sciences in Faculty of Medical Sciences Guantanamo

A research based on a pedagogical experience was carried out at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Guantanamo during 2011-2017 with the objective of increasing the motivation and integrated application of knowledge in Chemistry for a meaningful learning in the formation of the residents of Biomedical Basic Sciences. These instruments were applied to 20 residents who have graduated from the medical profession who have passed through the different specialties. Methods were used such as: analysis-synthesis, historical-logical, systemic. The exercises have been made taking into account the curricular materials of the teaching of the training of the residents of the different specialties. It was evidenced that there were difficulties in the relation of the knowledge acquired in their professional experiences as doctors and in the contents of the chemistry. During the application of the exercises were found better results stimulating a creative attitude and enhancing the interdisciplinary relationship between Chemistry and Medicine.
