Some theoretical considerations about the background and evolution of the process of overcoming the technologist in Rehabilitation in health

A descriptive research was carried out, with the objective of determining the antecedents and evolution of the process of overcoming the technologist in Rehabilitation in health at the University of Medical Sciences of Guantanamo.It was used analytic-synthetic methods, induction-deduction, historical-logical. It was concluded that the general theoretical conception about the graduation of graduates in Rehabilitation in Health, has traveled through different historical moments that reveal significant characteristics for Postgraduate Education in Public Health, is also a fundamental requirement for the strengthening and maintenance of the Professional competence and ultimately to raise the quality of comprehensive medical care to the individual, family and community. The postgraduate activity is essential to keep up to date with new knowledge, the main health problems in the area, whose objective is to achieve a better well-being for the health of the man, and for that it requires a continued education to satisfy the needs and to increase the level of the health care service that is provided.
