Abstract
As a result of large-scale extraction of commonly used minerals (lımestone, sands, gypsum rocks, bentonite clays, gravel, etc.) the soil cover of the Absheron penınsula is disturbed and strongly transformed. The history of extraction of these minerals is more than one thousand years. The area of such lands reaches more than 9,6 thousand hectares now. Mining was open, and in this regard the soil cover of the peninsula is strongly disturbed and transformed. For mitigation of consequences, formed as a result of technogenic influence, we developed scientifically based recommendations with application of technical and biological recultivation on the basis of account and mapping of these lands.
