Behavior of Hansen's Disease

Abstract
A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at the General Teaching Hospital "Octavio de la Concepcion y de la Pedraja", from January 2010 to June 2014, with the aim of assessing Hansen's disease. The sample consisted of 14 patients confirmed. variables were selected such as: age, sex, health area, origin, major clinical manifestations, was a predominance of male and 35-44 years, mostly from urban and belonging to the community polyclinic, and lepromatous multibacillary clinical forms, who accompanied the patients, microbiological and histopathological diagnosis that allowed the classification of each of the reported cases, followed by the mode of transmission and detection mode.
