Comparative characteristics of physical education lessons in General educational institutions of the Soviet period and modern Russia. Why lessons on physical culture enjoyed greater relevance in the USSR?

From generation to generation, people were interested in various sports, the correctness of exercise, and the people there was a slogan "in a healthy body – a healthy mind!"Unfortunately, everything in the world is amenable to modernization, conservatism is often inferior to progress, but it does not always benefit people. Thus, physical culture has undergone significant changes both in school life and in society as a whole. In this article, I propose to understand what changes have occurred in the conduct of physical education lessons in secondary schools, to identify the causes of the decline of the role of the subject among students and to offer some activities that contribute to raise the role and importance of physical education lessons.
