Abstract
In the article on the basis of available official statistical data the picture of crime in the form of violations of traffic rules and safety of vehicles is considered, tendencies of development of these crimes are revealed, motives of violations of traffic rules are generalized, the main reasons of road accident are investigated. The results can be used to further improve the prevention of these crimes.
