Quality of care in adult at the intensive care services in hospital in Baracoa, Guantanamo

Abstract
A descriptive, prospective study was conducted in the Adult Intensive Care Unit at the General Teaching Hospital "Octavio de la Concepción and Pedraja" in the period January- December 2014, with the aim of assessing the quality of care provided by the security patient. The universe and sample were comprised of total 180 users. The empirical method was used and data was collected, investigators proceeded to encode and enter informations in the SPSS v 17.0. It was taken as level 5 categories: Excellent, Very good, Good, Fair and Bad. In assessing the quality of care service, it is concluded that perception is good, which generated user satisfaction. Waiting times are short, cordial treatment by health personnel (nursing) is most relevant.
