Educational intervention on intestinal parasitism to parents of elementary school

Abstract
An educational intervention is done with the aim of modifying knowledge of intestinal parasitism to a group of parents of school the "Aguedo Morales Reina" community of Palma Clara Elementary School, part of the Policlinic "Hermanos Martínez Tamayo” Baracoa, from January to June 2014. It was applied a survey with different variables before and after the intervention. The sample consisted of 40 parents. The main studied group was aged 20-29 years and female. Satisfactory results are achieved after the educational intervention.
