Abstract
The article deals with the study of the stress-strain state of compaction of a cylindrical shell, conjugated to a conical shell along the edge loaded by external pressure. To this end, the Kirchhoff-Lyava hypothesis was used. External pressure is considered a formation fluid (oil) of an oil well. The Vlasov-Kantarovich variational method is applied.
