Abstract
This publication focuses on the study of deaf children in regular classrooms, as both the educational response patterns intervention. We analyze from numerous studies already undertaken, the relationships established around deaf students in schools and the role of sign languaje in their integration and in the teaching-learning. Moreover, we will make a brief tour of the history of the education of the deaf, tensions also suffering on progress occurred in recent years in both educational aspects and the recognition of sign languaje as well as this group, highlighting the existing specific reality on the attention to diversity and equal opportunities. All it focused on the situation of deaf people.
