Abstract

The regulations regarding the field of health ? ecology is dealing with synthetic compounds intake minimisation entering human body by drinking water, breathing air and food ingestion. However, the great deal of ingested pesticides is of natural origin ? compounds naturally present in fruit and vegetable. Synthetic chemicals which enter our bodies as residua in drinking water and food, represent only the minor part of pesticides we ingest and thus do not influence a lot to the cancer incidence. The major part of pesticides (99.9 %) is ingested as naturally present pesticides synthesised by plants themselves. The field of natural pesticides present in food and its impact on health is not researched enough by the mean of risk assessment.
