Abstract
The article describes the main indicators of warning and alerting systems aimed to inform the local population about prospective and rising emergency situations on the territory of the North Caucasus Federal District; analyses the state of the warning and alerting systems, including those situated in potentially hazardous and fire-dangerous facilities.
