Abstract
OAuth is an open standard for authorization. OAuth provides client applications a secure delegated access to server resources on behalf of a resource owner. It specifies a process for resource owners to authorize third-party access to their server resources without sharing their credentials. The proposed multicriteria recommender model with open authorization system is to have the modules includes End Users, Permission Guide, Recommendation Service, Authorization server. OAuth uses a mechanism where the roles of third-party applications and resource owners are separated. It does not require users to share their private credentials with third-party applications; instead it issues a new set of credentials for each application.
