Abstract
An azo/hydrazone mixture of the phenolic azo dye 4-(9-Anthrylazo)-1-naphthol was obtained in 58% yield. The product was characterized using spectroscopic techniques such as IR, NMR and ms. The electric conductivity of the tautomeric mixture was investigated in solid phase at ambient temperature.
