Abstract
This article discusses the phonetic changes in the Baghdad dialect and provides explanations for these phenomena. Attempts to link most of the phenomena with their historical roots in classical Arabic have been made. There are different phonetic phenomena observed in the dialect of Baghdad residents, but in this work we will talk about the interchange of sounds.
