Abstract
In the article it is discussed that the population composition of the studied cotton breeds in terms of plant height and length from the stem to the laying of the first balls in the fruit spurs of cotton consists of three or four groups of biotypes. It has been revealed that the characters are polymorphic in nature, in order to maintain equality and stability of the morphological characteristics of the cotton plant, the population of breeds should be formed from three or four groups of biotypes.
