Abstract
The article deals with some of the most important features of the Sino-European style in palace painting at the period of the Qing dynasty (1644-1912). The author examines composition specific of such works, their line manner, light, light and shade, color and some other means of art expressiveness in comparison with the same means in classicist and baroque painting.
