Abstract
Pumpkin is a very ancient plant in Uzbekistan. Last year, the demand for pumpkin grew steadily. In addition, some neighbouring countries, such as China, want to buy pumpkins, and this requires the improvement of pumpkin cultivation technology and the adaptation of seeds to Andijan conditions. The demand for a healthy pumpkin plant among the population of our country and foreign countries is growing day by day. This requires the cultivation of local varieties of pumpkin and improvement of pumpkin seeds in Andijan region.
