Abstract
It has been widely reported that the crocking fastness properties of pigment printed fabric is less than the crocking fastness of the reactive printed cloth, because of insolubility of pigments. However, the crocking fastness can be improved by selecting the appropriate Binder. There were twenty seven samples printed in this research. Nine samples were printed with Binder F, Nine samples were printed with Binder F.T and nine samples were printed with Binder 77. There were three different viscosities and three shades taken. The light fastness test and crocking fastness test of all samples had been performed according to ISO standard. The light fastness of the fabric printed with Binder F is best than the others and the rubbing fastness of fabric printed with Binder F.T is excellent.
