Abstract
Subdural empyema complicating meningococcal meningitis is rare in infants. Early suspicion of empyema should be considered when the evolution is atypical under treatment. We present a case of a 5-month-old infant who presented with bilateral empyema during an atypical evolution of Neisseria meningitidis meningitis serogroup B, admitted in the pediatric ward of University Hospital Mohamed VI, Marrakesh (Morocco) in 2016.
