DIACHRONIC-DIALECTOLOGY ASPECTS OF PAST SIMPLE TENSE MORPHEME

Abstract
The article is dedicated to investigating the past tense in the Azerbaijani language from the diachronic-dialectological aspect. In the article there is a look at investigating of the past tense in linguistic research, etymology of morpheme, its typology and morphological issues, semantic-style features and so on has been involved in the research. The result is that the "-d" suffix is a phono semantic element that expresses the meaning of "shuhudi" in order to create a "force to action" effect. In some of the dialects and accents of the Azerbaijani language, the existence of the sound in transitions and parallels, and even in the structure of present tense form morpheme confirms this statement
