THE ECONOMY OF AZERBAIJAN: RESULTS AND PROSPECTS

The economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan is consistently developing, economic indicators are mostly positive. Significant progress has been made in the oil and gas industry. The oil strategy developed in the Republic is being successfully implemented, but it has led to a great dependence on oil and gas prices. In recent years, a consistent policy for the priority development of the non-oil sector of the economy of the Republic has been carried out. Progress has been made in the field of non-oil industry, agriculture, transport, etc. The article analyzes the development of the economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and draws conclusions on the prospects of diversification of production.
