Material culture features of the Ananyino combed-corded wear culture in the Vyatka and Vetluga basins

Abstract
The paper considers the features of the material culture of Ananyino comb-corded ceramics of the Ananyino cultural and historical area in the basins of the Vetluga and Vyatka rivers. The author determines the characteristic features of ceramic and bone findings from a settlements of Ananyino comb-corded ceramics culture characterizing the latter as an authentic culture within the Ananyino cultural and historical area. The results of statistical analysis of the ceramic complex from Vyatka hillforts demonstrate the presence and prevalence of comb-corded stamping in the ornamentation of the vessels only at the early development stages of Ananyino cultural and historical area in the basin of the Vetluga and Vyatka rivers. A comparative analysis of collections obtained from the monuments of the Ananyino cultural and historical area located of this area allowed the author to identify the similarities and differences of their material culture.
