Emotional intelligence of the university student: A case study at the High school of Teacher of Technological Education, Skikda, Algeria

Abstract
The study aims to determine the level of emotional intelligence in university students, and to identify the differences according to variable of sex and level of study. According, a random sample and was used in the present study. The most important findings of the study were: (1) the students possess an efficient emotional capability,(2)have the ability to be aware of their own selves and the realization of sentiments,(3)control their emotions, and (4)have sufficient social skills to deal with colleagues and difficult situations. Also, the study found no differences in emotional intelligence attributed to variable of sex and level of study.
