Abstract
In wireless sensor network (WSN), the key issue occurs while routing for the particular data transmission is energy efficiency for the entire network. Due to the limited power resource for each sensor node, the network lifetime would be minimized while transmission. Thus to defeat these limitations in WSN, the protocol modeling is introduced in this paper. The proposed protocol algorithm focuses on the issues of energy efficiency and network lifetime maximization by employing the clusters technique. The main intention of this paper is to response for the unbalanced energy allocation while transmission is overcome by the cluster-head selection to balance the energy consumption and that increases the network lifetime during routing. The proposed algorithm is implemented using MATLAB to obtain the simulation results for the evaluation of performance of the proposed protocol.
