Abstract

This article aims to identify the teacher's emotional competence and relationship to quality of life in light of certain variables (gender, age, state marital, years of seniority, workplace) and this by presenting the results of a practical field study conducted in the wilaya of Setif, The study sample consisted of (40) individuals who were selected in a deliberate manner. The researcher used the teacher's emotional skills questionnaire in the Algerian environment as well as the quality of life questionnaire from the World Health Organization WHO (translated from English to Arabic by Dr. Ahmed Hassain), The study was based on the analytical descriptive approach We conducted statistical analysis using the SPSS statistical package. The results of the study are as follow: - Teachers have a sample of the study a good level of emotional competence and quality of life. - There are statistically significant differences At the significance level (0,05) in the levels of emotional competence and quality of life Teachers have a sample study according to the following variables Gender, age, marital status, years of seniority, place of work. - There is a relationship between the emotional competence and quality of life of teachers has a sample study.
