Abstract
The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) is a multi-process model which is capable of integrating hydrology, environment, ecology, agriculture, and water resources. In this paper, a brief review is presented on utility of SWAT model, for the purposes of predicting the probable impact of land management practices on water (quality and quantity) and sediment yield, in large watersheds with varying topography, soils types, land use/land cover patterns.
