Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to ascertain the factors motivating lecturers of Maritime Universities in Chennai. Motivation is a significant aspect of any individual's growth and development in their career. The factors which are considered for this study are high salary, opportunity for personal development, fringe benefits, and non-monetary compensation.
