A LOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF HUMAN POPULATION IN SELECTED AREA OF SRIKAKULAM DISTRICT

The aim of this study was to explore a few demographic characteristics in 13 villages in Ranasthalam Mandal, Srinkakulam District, Andhra Pradesh. In this connection we prepared, well-structured questionnaire, then, the team members visited door to door and interacted with the public to obtain desired information on the subject items from the household head or any other knowledgeable adult person, who is well versed with the household particulars. In this study area, the population size was 4,791 households, after the data collection the whole data was analyzed through SPSS software by using Chi-square test technique.
