Abstract
A systematic method is proposed for providing secure image transmission from a system to a web server using Raspberry Pi. The original image to be communicated is simultaneously scrambled and encrypted using chaotic transformation. The entropy value of the encrypted image is enhanced by using an additional diffusion key along with encryption process. The encrypted image is transmitted directly from the hardware to a web server and can be remotely accessed from any other system. Though hardware implementation is more challenging to be achieved than numerical simulations, this method is implemented and successfully tested for efficient encryption parameters using advanced Raspberry Pi3 environment. The experimental results validate the reliability of the proposed method and also make it suitable for real-time secure environments.
