Abstract
In the present century, technology has simplified common person's life in several ways. Similarly, it has brought changes to the business world. The acceptance of the technology “Internet” has changed the way of communication, entertainment and business. In India, the rise of e-commerce has been unprecedented. At the same time the usage of m-commerce is also growing in a rapid manner. With the easy access to internet, affordable price of smart phone and low cost of internet plans, e-commerce and m-commerce industries are booming in India as in the global market. Consequently, there is a cutthroat competition among the etailers. Everyone is looking for a niche market. In this scenario understanding the customers and knowing the market dynamics have become more important than anything else. The worldwide development of the e-commerce industry has also caught the attention of the researcher round the globe to understand how individual behaves on the online platform. In this scenario it is very much necessary to understand how and in what manner people of various regions accepting the usage of mobile phone in terms of banking or transacting money for various reasons. The research study vividly investigates the dynamic nature of mobile internet usage behavior of the consumer in various geographical locations of the country especially in the North Eastern region.
