Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effect of adhesive content on mechanical properties such as flexural strength, modulus of elasticity and tensile strength of a particleboards based on mint waste. The panel was produced using UreaFormaldehyde (UF) adhesive, two adhesive contents were tested: 0.6 liters and 0.8 liters. Adhesive contents of 0.6 and 0.8 liter were statistically different, particleboard made from a 0.8 liter adhesive content had better mechanical strength compared to particleboard made from a 0.6 liter adhesive content.
