Abstract
The study of peristaltic transport of a nanofluid in a vertical channel with suction is analyzed in the present work. The problem is formulated under the long wave length and low Reynolds number approximations. The non-linear coupled governing equations are solved numerically by using shooting technique along with RungeKutta method of order four. The effect of various physical parameters on fluid velocity, temperature distribution and nano particle concentration is analyzed through graphs. The influence of Brownian motion parameter and thermophoresis parameter on nano particle temperature and concentration are discussed with the help of graphs. It is observed that there is a significant change in the temperature distribution and nanoparticle volume fraction profiles with increase in Brownian motion parameter and thermophoresis parameter. The significant effect of suction parameter is explained graphically.
