Some peculiarities of knowledge control on occupational health and safety

The article analyzes the tasks facing occupational safety, which are determined by its complex nature, a large number of scientific, technical, industrial, hygienic, organizational, social, and public factors that determine the effectiveness of efforts applied to increase occupational safety. Attention is focused on the use of the achievements of many scientific disciplines directly or indirectly related to the tasks of creating healthy and safe working conditions. The importance of continuous multi-level targeted improvement of professional literacy and competence of labor protection personnel as an integral part of the prevention of industrial injuries and occupational morbidity is substantiated.
