Abstract
This article discusses the title as one of the tools that plays an important role in the harmony of form and content. It also provides accurate and scientifically based suggestions on how to name journalistic material, along with theoretical background information. In particular, the title of fiction and publicist works published in the printed editions for the period of 1991-2018 were classified in genre and linguistic terms. There are also comments on their peculiarities.
