Abstract
Electric train control not only ensures proper running-time on inter-station (railway between the two stations), but also ensures safety and minimum electric power consumption. A method of determining the minimum electric power consumption train control regimes applied to metro train only using mechanical braking and using regenerative braking combined with mechanical braking, according to the Pontryagin's maximum principle, is given in this article. Then the article presents an algorithm for determining the optimum sequence and transition points of the train control regimes on inter-station (no-big slope, limited speed). Finally, the article presents the saving energy of the metro line with the data of the electric train and rail track of the Cat Linh-Ha Dong 2A line in Vietnam by simulation.
