SOCIO-ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF MIGRANTS FROM THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC IN KAZAKHSTAN

The article analyzes the consequences of labor migration from the Kyrgyz Republic, working in Ka- zakhstan. For analysis, she used data from the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Almaty. Analyzing the socio-economic situation of migrant workers revealed the main problems. Employers use a variety of means to defer payment or reduce the amount paid. When leaving the country of origin for economic reasons, migrant workers can come to Kazakhstan, having completely spent their accumulated funds.
